Shirley A. Wagler

LEIPSIC - Shirley A. Wagler, 87, of Leipsic died 6:56 p.m. Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Mercy St. Vincent, Toledo.  She was born December 22, 1930 in Lima to the late Earl and Eithel (Tumbleson) Hawk.  On April 9, 1949 she married Neil Wagler.  They later divorced and he preceded her in death on October 10, 1996.

She is survived by five children:  Keith Wagler of Findlay, Kayleen Wagler of Ottawa, Jim Wagler of Leipsic, Traci Wagler of Leipsic and Jason Wagler of Findlay; four grandchildren:  Beth (Rich Burris) Wagler of Florida, Brian (Jess) Wagler of Leipsic, Sarah (Mark) Ellerbrock of Ottawa and Christopher Wagler of Bowling Green; and three great-granddaughters:  Paige Wagler, Kendall Wagler and Sydney Wagler.

Shirley is preceded in death by a daughter: Cheryl Wagler; three brothers:  Paul Hawk, David Hawk and Jim Hawk; and a sister: Glenda (Harold) Knief.

Shirley had been a homemaker and then later retired from Search Services Trust, Leipsic where she had been a secretary and was a member of Leipsic United Methodist Church.

A graveside service will being 1:00 p.m. Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Monroe Cemetery, Continental with Pastor Laurie Beaty officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of  LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic.
