Shirley A. Selhorst OTTAWA – Shirley A. Selhorst, 83, of Ottawa, passed away at 12:04 a.m., Sunday, November 17, 2024, at The Meadows of Kalida.  She was born February 8, 1941, in New Cleveland to the late Julius and Marcella (Hohenbrink) Kuhlman. On May 28, 1960, she married Willard "Willie" Selhorst, who preceded her in death on September 27, 2017. She is survived by three children: Dan (Julie) Selhorst of Ottawa, Dave (Deb) Selhorst of Glandorf and Kay Prichard of Ottawa; seven grandchildren: Jason (Shannon) Selhorst, Britany (Steven) Beckman, Kelley (MJ) Lotko, Abbie Selhorst, Alex (Zoe) Selhorst, Kaila (Brittany Loparich) Recker and Lindsey (Dylan Llewellyn) Prichard; seven great-grandchildren; and two siblings: Jim (Lois) Kuhlman of Boca Raton, FL and Jane (Mark) Rosengarten of Ottawa. Shirley retired from the Putnam County Recorder's Office, where she worked as a clerk. She also worked for the Putnam County Auditor's Office, as well as the Religious Education Center, Ottawa. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa and the Ottawa Eagle's Auxiliary. She was known for her excellent cooking and baking. Shirley loved family time, especially attending her grandchildren's sporting events. Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa with Fr. Scott Kramer officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday prior to the Mass at the church.  Arrangements are under the direction of LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.
