Steven M. Tenwalde
OTTAWA - Steven M. Tenwalde, 21, of Ottawa died Friday evening, May 24, 2013 at his residence. He was born June 4, 1991 in Lima to Mark S. and Theresa (Verhoff) Tenwalde. His father died December 31, 2012 and his mother survives in Ottawa. He is also survived by a brother, Johnothon Tenwalde of Columbus; a sister, Angela Tenwalde at home; paternal grandparents, Robert and Vera Tenwalde of Ottawa; maternal grandfather, Henry Verhoff of Glandorf and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceding also in death is his grandmother, Rita Verhoff.
Steven graduated from Ottawa-Glandorf High School in 2010. He has an associate degree in law enforcement from Rhodes State. He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa. Steven was currently living at home and helping care for his grandparents and waiting on news from the National Guard.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa with Fr. Matt Jozefiak officiating. Burial will follow in church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa where a scripture service will be at 7:50 p.m.
