Sue Ann Olmsted

COLUMBUS, IN – Sue Ann Olmsted, 92, of Columbus, IN, passed away at 1:25 a.m., Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana. She was born March 28, 1930, in Seymour, IN, to the late Ivan R. and Lenora (Nichter) Love.  On April 11, 1952, she married James Olmsted, who preceded her in death on August 6, 1994.

Survivors include a sister, Rosemary Loostrom of Plymouth, MI; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Jack (Gertrude) Love; and a brother-in-law, Robert Loostrom.

Sue was a graduate of Seymour High School, IN. She was a member of Sandy Hook United Methodist Church, Columbus, IN. Sue was a loving wife, sister and friend who was well-known for her kindness and thoughtfulness. She was a beautiful housekeeper and took great pride in her home. Sue loved fishing with Jim, taking care of her plants and was an avid fan of Indiana University Basketball.

Graveside services will be held 12:00 p.m., Friday, January 6, 2023 at Garland Brook Cemetery, Columbus, IN.
