Susan Yingling Schoonover

COLORADO - Susan Yingling Schoonover, 57, of Longmont, CO, formerly of Ottawa died at 8:00 p.m. Sunday, July 3, 2016 at University of Colorado Hospital, Aurora, CO. She was born May 4, 1959 in Lima to Frederick and Naomi (Weller) Yingling. Her father is deceased and her mother survives in Ottawa. On July 29, 1989 she married Charles P. Schoonover who survives in Longmont, CO.

Also surviving are a son: Kevin Schoonover of Longmont, CO and a sister: Janet (Wayne) Stauffer of Continental.

Susan was a graduate of Ottawa-Glandorf School and Bowling Green State University. She was a teacher for 35 years having taught at Lima Shawnee and Boulder High in Colorado.  She was a member of Niwot United Methodist Church in Longmont, CO. She loved reading, music, and had many other joys in her life.

A Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 11, 2016 at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa with Rev. Lynda Lockwood officiating.  Burial will follow in Harman Cemetery, Gilboa.  Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.
