Sylvester Maag
Glandorf - Sylvester Maag, 87, of Glandorf died 1:55 p.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at Shawnee Manor. He was born February 15, 1927 in Glandorf to the late Harry and Martha (Meyers) Maag.
He is survived by 4 children: Ruth Austin of Carey, Edward Maag, Linda Maag and Frank Maag all of Lima; 2 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and 2 sisters: Lucille Siebeneck of Findlay and Leona Moore of Columbus Grove. Sylvester is preceded in death by his son: Steven Maag, 5 brothers, and 2 sisters.
Sylvester had worked for Nienberg Supply in Glandorf.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 11, 2014 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa with Fr. Tony Fortman officiating. Burial will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Glandorf. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
