LEIPSIC - Teresa A. Rodriguez, 80, of Leipsic, died at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Bluffton Hospital. She was born October 15, 1935 in Welder, TX to the late Nicholas "Nick" and Margarita (Jimenez) Amador. On April 11, 1956 she married Lambert Rodriguez who survives in Leipsic.
She is survived by seven children: Roy (Sylvia) Rodriguez of Leipsic, Linda (David Cook) Guevara of Leipsic, Rene (Rosemary) Rodriguez of Ft. Worth, TX, Lambert Rodriguez III of Dallas, TX, Mary Alice (John Reed) Rodriguez of Miller City, John (Lisa) Rodriguez of Leipsic, Monica (Victor Niese) Garcia of Leipsic; 17 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren with one more on the way; six brothers; and three sisters. She was preceded in death by a son: Robert "Bobby" Rodriguez.
Teresa was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic. She loved spending time with all of her grandchildren and enjoyed cooking, baking, walking, and being outdoors.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic, with Fr. William Pifher officiating and Deacon Ben Valdez co-officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Monday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. as well as an hour prior to mass all at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic. A rosary service will be held Monday at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
