Teresa D. Keezer

DEFIANCE – Teresa D. Keezer, 69 of Defiance, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Oakridge Gardens Nursing Center, Menasha, Wisconsin. She was born July 18, 1956, in Paulding to the late Andrew and Helene (Rhees) Lee. On May 1, 1976, she married Jerry E. Keezer, he preceded her in death on October 9, 2023.

Teresa is survived by a son: Brett (Amanda) Keezer of Wisconsin, and a daughter: April Keezer of Ohio; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother: Darwin (Carol) Lee; and two sisters: Darlene Hale and Shirley Zipfel.

She is preceded in death by a daughter, Amy Keezer.

Teresa was an LPN for 17 years, working in a long-term care nursing facility.

A graveside service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 27, 20206 at Prairie Chapel Cemetery, Oakwood with Pastor Pat Holt officiating. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Oakwood.
