Terry Lynn Berger
WEST LEIPSIC – Terry Lynn Berger, 65, of West Leipsic died 1:52 p.m. Saturday, February 18, 2012 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.  He was born December 17, 1946 in Lima to the late Victor Joseph and Ruth Ella (Kindle) Berger.  On March 26, 1966, he married Betty Finkenbiner and she survives in West Leipsic.
Terry is survived by 4 children: Joseph William (Cassie Williamson) Berger of Leipsic, Cher E. (Orvil) Barnes of West Leipsic, Michael John (Stacey) Berger of Continental and James (Alexa Maag) Berger of West Leipsic; 15 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; a sister, Helen (Jim) Reynolds of Angola, Indiana; 3 sisters-in-law: Virginia Berger and Cynthia Berger both of Florida, Marilyn Berger of Leipsic and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death also by a daughter, Jolynn Berger; 4 brothers: Victor Joseph Berger, Gary Berger, John Berger and an infant; a sister, LaDonna Christman and her husband John.
Terry retired from Phillips Display Component, Ottawa after 36 years.   He was a member of Leipsic Rod and Gun; life member of the North American Hunting Association; 4-H advisor for 27 years with the Kountry Kids 4-H Club of Leipsic. He loved his family and spending time with them. He enjoyed watching the Leipsic High School football team, hunting, fishing and gardening in his greenhouse.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at Love-Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Leipsic with Pastor Tom Graves officiating.  Burial will follow in Center Cemetery, Leipsic.   Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to service on Tuesday at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic.
Memorials may be given to the Putnam County 4-H.
