Theodore E. “Ted” Frick

LEIPSIC - Theodore E. “Ted” Frick, 79, of Leipsic, passed away at 9:56 a.m., Friday, October 16, 2026, at Kindred Hospital, Lima. He was born November 2, 1946, in Lima to the late George Reid and Hazel (McKenzie) Frick. On November 21, 1965, he married Martha Thomas, who survives in Leipsic.

Other survivors include four children: Lisa Frick of Leipsic, David Frick of Minster, Scott (Jen) Frick of Leipsic and Ted Frick II of Findlay; eight grandchildren: Cody, Allison, Keaton, Reid, Leland, Trent, Lily and Brodey; two siblings: Tom (Nancy) Frick of Pandora and Rose Franz of Alabama; and his best friend and beloved dog, Rudy.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by three sisters: Ruth, Jeanie and Judy Frick; and a brother-in-law, Richard Franz.

Ted retired from General Motors, Defiance and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He loved to go hunting, fishing and camping. Ted was a collector of many things. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic.

Memorial donations may be made a charity of the donor’s choice.
