Theresa B. Erhart
KALIDA - Theresa B. Erhart, 94, of Kalida, died at 1:03 a.m., Friday, September 27, 2013 at The Meadows of Kalida. She was born March 3, 1919 in Kalida to the late Edward and Anna (Rieman) Kerner. On June 14, 1949, she married Norbert Erhart who died August 26, 1985.
She is survived by 2 children: Ruth (Al) Hoffman of Kettering and Ken (Karen) Erhart of Kalida; 7 grandchildren: Jason (Naimisha) Hoffman, Melissa (Bill) Olberding, Philip (Jessica) Hoffman, David (Charlotte) Hoffman, Audrey (Andy) Buss, Amy (Bryan) Cunningham, and Amber (Ryan Nickerson) Erhart; and 6 great-grandchildren: Cohen Buss, Larken Buss, Ashdin Hoffman, Tessa Hoffman, Weston Hoffman, and Henry Olberding. She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers and their wives: Cletus and Margaret Kerner and Oscar and Evangeline Kerner and her sister: Marcella Kerner.
Theresa was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Kalida and its Rosary Altar Society. She was very active in St. Michael's church activities, loved her family, and enjoyed being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Kalida with Fr. Mark Hoying officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Monday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa where there will be an Altar Rosary service at 7:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to St. Michael's Catholic Church.
