Thomas "Tom" C. Wannemacher

CLOVERDALE - Thomas "Tom" C. Wannemacher, 58, of Cloverdale died Monday, June 19, 2017. He was born March 17, 1959 in Lima to the late Othmar and Celeste (Heimann) Wannemacher. On August 22, 1981 he married Carol Selhorst who survives in Cloverdale.

Also surviving are three children, Jamie Wannemacher of Columbus, Adam Wannemacher and Bradley Wannemacher both of Cloverdale; two brothers, Robert (Cheryl) Wannemacher of Lima and Kenneth Wannemacher of Cloverdale; two sisters, Charlene (John) Willey and Mary Ann (Tom) Clementz both of Cloverdale; a  brother-in-law, Stan Mansfield of Cloverdale; mother-in-law, Julitta "Julie" Selhorst of Kalida; and in-laws,  Mary Gail (Jon Sakosits) Selhorst, Becky (Carl) Fortman, John (Nancy) Selhorst, Jenny (Gary) Kahle and Jackie (John) Schimmoeller. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Bonnie Mansfield and his father-in-law, Harold "Herk" Selhorst.

Tom worked at Eaton in Van Wert and was a farmer. He was a member of St. Barbara Catholic Church, Cloverdale and its Holy Name Society. He was on the St. Barbara Cemetery Board and the Perry Township Zoning Board. Tom was a member of the Cloverdale Game Club, enjoyed playing cards, and was a Cincinnati Reds Fan.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at St. Barbara Catholic Church, Cloverdale with the Very Reverend Jerome Schetter officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday and 2 to 8 p.m. on Friday at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Jackson Township where there will be a scripture service at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
