Thomas L. "Tucker" Warnecke

Kalida - Thomas L. "Tucker" Warnecke, 72, of Kalida died 9:55 p.m. Saturday, January 30, 2016 at the Meadows of Kalida.  He was born March 26, 1943 in Lima to the late Walter and Edna (Ruhe) Warnecke.  On August 15, 1997, he married Joyce Trenkamp who survives in Kalida.

Also surviving are his two children: Ted (Karen) Warnecke of Arcanum, Ohio and Tammy (Nathan) Tucker of Columbus Grove; 4 grandchildren: Emelia Warnecke, Joseph Warnecke, Tucker Maag and Levi Maag and two brothers: James (Diane) Warnecke and Dan (Diana) Warnecke all of Kalida.  He is also preceded by a sister, Carla Landin.

Thomas was a farmer and retired from Marathon Electric in Lima.  He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Kalida.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Kalida, with Fr. Mark Hoying officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.   Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.

Memorials may be given to Putnam County Hospice.
