Timothy J. Cavanaugh
OTTAWA – Timothy J. Cavanaugh, 54, of Ottawa died at 5:27 p.m. Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. He was born February 25, 1958 in Defiance to Patrick and Joan (Bartosek) Cavanaugh. His mother is deceased. His father survives in Ottawa.
Also surviving are 2 children: Brandon and Bryan Cavanaugh both of Lima and 2 brothers: Thomas (Michelle) Cavanaugh of Chandler, AZ and Randy Cavanaugh of Glendale, AZ. His sister: Renee Cavanaugh also preceded him in death.
Tim was a musician and had worked at Philips ECG formerly of Ottawa. He was a 1977 graduate of Ottawa-Glandorf High School and a member of Leipsic Rod and Gun, Ottawa Eagles and a social member of Ottawa VFW.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa with Fr. Matt Jozefiak officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm Monday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.
