Timothy I. Meyer

PANDORA – Timothy I. Meyer, 65, of Pandora died 5:30 p.m., Saturday, May 21, 2022, at Findlay Care Center Bridge Hospice.  He was born August 20, 1956, in Lima to the late Alphons and Evelyn (Fruchey) Meyer.  On September 8, 1979, he married Kay Hart and she survives in Pandora.

Other survivors include two sons: Kyle (Brandi) Meyer and Scott (Lydia) Meyer both of Pandora; six grandchildren: Carson, Chase, Ty, Joscey, Laney and Bohen; a sister, Deborah (Joseph) Kiene of Bluffton; a nephew, Kash (Jennifer) Kiene; and a niece, Kelsea (Harold) Walters.

Tim retired after 33 years as Lieutenant with the Putnam County Sherriff's Office where he was the Interim Sheriff from 2016-2017.  He was a member Buckeye State Sheriffs Association.  Tim was also a lifelong farmer and enjoyed working outdoors.  He was a car restoration enthusiast who loved tinkering in his shop.  Tim's family meant the world to him, especially his grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.  The Putnam County Honor Guard will hold a brief service at 7:45 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Bridge Hospice or to The James Cancer Center.
