Ty M. Conn
OTTAWA - Ty M. Conn, 17 of Ottawa died Friday, October 12, 2018 at his residence. He was born August 6, 2001 in Lima to Derrick Conn and Lindy (Petersen) Schroeder. His father and step-mother, Zandra survive in Columbus Grove. His mother and step-father, Tyson Schroeder survive in Ottawa.
Other survivors include five siblings: Tayden Conn of Ottawa, Quinten Hernandez of Ottawa, Sydney Schroeder of Ottawa, Brooke Helms of West Minster and Brittany Ackerman of Lafayette; paternal grandparents, Steve (Linda) Conn of Glandorf; maternal grandparents: Sandy Petersen of Leipsic, Howard Petersen of FL, Ann (Norm) Averesch of Ottawa and Randy (Dorothy) Schroeder of Ft. Jennings; a niece, Serenity Houston; a nephew, Ashton Helms; and several uncles, aunts and cousins.
Ty was a junior at Ottawa-Glandorf High School where he was a member of the National Honor's Society. He took a lot of pride in his job at McDonald's always greeting everyone with his polite smile. Ty was an avid gamer who loved animals; especially his dog, Ellie. He was well loved by his family and all who knew him and will be sincerely missed.
