Velva Jean Kohli

COLUMBUS GROVE – Velva Jean Kohli, 83, of Columbus Grove, died at 6:12 p.m. on Friday, May 7, 2021 at her residence.  She was born July 30, 1937 in Martin County, Kentucky to the late Robert and Mary (Robinson) Fields. She married Duane Kohli, he preceded her in death on January 8, 1985.

She is survived by three sons: James Butcher of Columbus Grove, Shannon Kohli of Ottawa, and Larry (Karen) Butcher; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister: Sue Holbrooke of Columbus.

Jean is preceded in death by a daughter: Sharon Meyer; granddaughter: Alicia Butcher; a sister: Ruby Walcutt; and a brother: Robert Fields Jr.

She was a member of the Ottawa VFW Auxillary and the Lima ELKS.  She was a volunteer at the American Cancer Society.

A private service will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.
