Vicki Brinkman

CONTINENTAL – Vicki Brinkman, 71, of Continental died 3:49 p.m. Friday, October 13, 2023, at her residence.  She was born in Hardin County to the late Opal Shepherd Snyder and Victor Winegardner.

She is survived by 3 daughters:  Amy (Robert) Quigley of Continental and Denise (Shannon) Matthews and Amanda (Andrew) Conn, both of Cloverdale; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters: Bonnie Dobrydnio of Connecticut, Ruth Ann (Jim) Short of Lakeview, Kay (Jim) Youngs of Findlay and Lori (John) Iten of Lima; a brother-in-law:  Bradley Scott of Kenton; a sister-in-law:  Charolotte Winegardner of California; and she was the American mom to Veronica Lemos of Brazil.

She is preceded in death by a brother: Jimmy Winegardner and a sister:  Peggy Jo Scott.

Vicki was a homemaker and was an in-home babysitter.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and a good cup of coffee with friends.  She was a fan of all kinds of sweet treats and desserts.  In recent years she ventured to Jonesborough, AR where she was a caregiver.  While there she made many wonderful friends before returning to Kalida to love on her grandchildren.

The funeral service will be 12 noon, Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at the HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental with Father Nathan Bockrath officiating.  Burial will follow in Monroe Cemetery, Continental.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
