Victoria L. “Tori” Schweitzer (Boggs)

DESHLER – Victoria L. “Tori” Schweitzer (Boggs), 19, of Deshler, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2026, in Auglaize County. She was born July 29, 2007, in Camp Lejeune, NC to Kimberly (Burklo) Blair and Derriek Schweitzer. Her mother survives in Deshler and her father survives in Cridersville.

Other survivors include her fiancé, Brian Boggs; ten siblings: Kaylee (Tristin McComas) Schweitzer, Dakota (Emily) Schweitzer, both of Lima, Tyler (Jaden) Schweitzer of Harrod, Patrick Schweitzer of Deshler, Bryzon Sandy of Grafton, WV, Christian Hofferbert, Abigail Blair, both of Deshler, Justine Schweitzer of Celina, Summer Jordan of Bowling Green and Xavier Cloud of Lima; two nieces: Giulia Hayes, Faye Schweitzer; a nephew, Daniel Schweitzer; maternal grandparents: John (Lois) Burklo of Lima, Barbara Oakes-Knueve of Deshler; paternal grandmother, Vickie Schweitzer of Sydney; and her beloved cats: Simba, Scar and Phoenix.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Ronald Schweitzer.

Tori worked as a front-end sales associate at Walmart in Ottawa. She enjoyed doing nails and spending time with her family, especially her fiancé, whom she was excited to marry and become Mrs. Boggs. She loved being an aunt and dreamed of the day she would become a mom. She loved nature and was a sucker for a beautiful sunset and moon.

There wasn’t a selfish bone in her body. She always thought of others and wanted them to find happiness like she had. From the moment she came into this world with her hand to her head, being the spitfire of the family was her title.

“She was the most outgoing and beautiful person I’ve ever known sitting here today after the crash wishing she was still here with me so I could hug her and see her beautiful smile. I was hoping to help her meet all her goals in life, but that time got cut short. I will always love Victoria, no matter what she deserves to live longer, her time was cut way too soon.” Her fiancé’s last testimony to her.

Her passing has left a hole so deep in every heart she’s ever known. Fly high princess, we love you.

A celebration of life will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on September 26, 2026 at Memorial Park, Ottawa.  Arrangements are under the direction of LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.
