Violet M. Oard

CONTINENTAL - Violet M. Oard, 81, of Continental died at 2:55 p.m. Monday, October 10, 2016 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.

She was born December 4, 1934 in Lima to the late Theodore and Mary (Cain) Vallance.  She married Christopher Oard who died in 1985.

Survivors include 4 children: Mary (Mark) Seibert of Continental, Nancy (Robert) Richardson-Doster of Dupont, Sharon Baldazo of Fort Jennings, and Chris Oard of Hamler; 20 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a brother: Bob Vallance of Lima.

She was preceded in death by 2 sons: John Oard and Theodore Oard; a great-grandson: Julio Baldazo; and a brother: John Vallance.
