Walter "Wally" McCoun

CONTINENTAL – Walter "Wally" McCoun, 69 of Continental died 11:30 p.m. Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Mercy Health St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.  He was born July 27, 1951 in Coshocton to the late Herbert A. and Beulah (Stanley) McCoun.  On December 26, 1992 he married Frances C. Brumbaugh and she survives in Continental.

Other survivors include a daughter Loretta (Tim) Druschel; a son, Jeffrey (Ashley) McCarty; a grandson, Devon McCoun; a brother, Chuck (Patty) McCoun; three sisters: Ellen L. (Scott) Jones, Sharon F. Sharrock and Beatrice G. Sharrock; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law and brother-in-law and sister-in-law.

Wally was a mechanic.

Funeral service will begin at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental.  Burial will follow in Monroe Cemetery, Continental.  Due to regulations regarding COVID-19, masks and social distancing are required at the funeral home.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
