William "Bill" J. Hoover
William "Bill" Joseph Hoover, 64 of Green Valley, AZ passed away Feb. 7th at home in the arms of his beloved wife Ann, surrounded by family.
He was born June 17th 1950 in Tiffin, Ohio to the late Ralph J. and Lucille (Williams) Hoover. He married Ann (Angus) Aug. 24th 1968 at Saint Patrick Catholic Church in Bascom, Ohio and she survives in Green Valley, AZ.
Surviving are 3 adult children, a son William J. II of Green Valley, AZ, Joshua M. residing at home and a daughter Kelly A. (Patrick) McClelland of Sahuarita, AZ. He has 4 grandchildren, Kaylee and Taylor McClelland, Jacob and Zachary Hoover. A sister Carolyn Pollauf of Fort Meyer, Florida, a sister Kathy Windau of Fostoria Ohio, a brother James of Toledo Ohio and a brother John of North Royalton, Ohio.
Bill graduated from Hopewell Loudon H.S. in 1968 and Tiffin University in 1972. He worked as an accountant for 43 years, both publically and privately after graduating college. He and his wife Ann resided in the Findlay area for 38 years and then moved to AZ.
Bill's spare time consisted of many years of coaching the youth in his community. His love for basketball, baseball and hockey was known by all. His favorite college team was the Ohio State Buckeyes and he could always be found chanting "Go Bucks". Bill enjoyed spending time with family and good friends. They all meant the world to him. Bill was a kind and very generous man. He valued hard work and using his God-given talents. He will be greatly missed by many. A celebration of Bill's life will be held in the upcoming weeks.
