William "Bill" Riepenhoff

OTTAWA – William "Bill" Riepenhoff, 63, of Ottawa, passed away at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, April 29, 2024 at The Meadows of Ottawa. He was born August 7, 1960, in Lima to the late Clarence and Esther (Recker) Riepenhoff.

Bill is survived by four siblings: Diane (Ralph) Kleman of Columbus Grove, Darlene (Richard) Stechschulte of Glandorf, Mike Riepenhoff of Miller City and Dale (Jodi Culp) Riepenhoff of Ottawa; seven nieces and nephews: Christine Shaffer, Brenda Kizer, Lisa Gasser, Dan Kleman, Lori Miehls, Angie Ruhe and Kyle Stechschulte; two great-nephews; nine great-nieces; and two great-great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by two brothers: David Riepenhoff and John Riepenhoff.

Bill worked for Remlinger, Kalida and was a lifelong farmer. He had a passion for farming, enjoyed model railroads and was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Miller City. Bill was a loving brother, uncle and friend.

Funeral Mass will begin 10:30 a.m., Saturday, May 4, 2024 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Miller City with Fr. Scott Perry officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. on Friday and 9 to 10 a.m. on Saturday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa. A vigil service will begin at 7:45 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
