Wilma J. Giesige

CONTINENTAL – Wilma J. Giesige, 76, of Continental died at 5:32 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Mercy Health St. Rita's, Lima. She was born October 26, 1942 in Continental to the late William and Garnet (Philips) Moran. She was formerly married to Ron Giesige of Sherwood.

She is survived by three daughters, Laura Lynn Morrison and Arlene Kay (Jim) Okuley both of Continental, and Nancy Renee (Darl) McCullough of Defiance; six grandchildren, Brittany Cass, Stacy (Kenny) Worline, Stephanie Okuley, Ryan McCullough, Larissa (Brett) Thome, Candace (Jeremiah) Roberts; and four great-grandchildren, Kency Worline, Mya Velasquez, Jionni Luttfring, and Bjorn Roberts. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cheryl Ann Giesige and a sister, Patricia Scott.

Wilma retired after 30 years from Campbell Soup in Napoleon. She loved her family and especially adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed shopping and was a fan of Elvis.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 10, 2019 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental with Pastor Terry Porter officiating. Burial will follow in Monroe Cemetery, Continental. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday and from 9 a.m. until the service at 10 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society.
